"Because he himself
suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those
who are being tempted."
- Hebrews 2:18
He's a very good friend, so this isn't considered
ribbing (FYI). My good friend, Jason, is affectionately
known as "OJ," because he loves the color orange. He
wears orange clothing. He has orange hair. He drinks
orange soda. Orange. Jason. Orange Jason. OJ. Dig?
There's another thing that Jason loves, and that is to
repeat e-v-e-r-y funny thing he hears. It could be a
funny statement or the noise of a bodily function. If
he hears it, he repeats it. Instant Replay OJ. Sounds
like something you'd find on the shelf at Toys-R-Us.
Seems to me that a "funny" is rarely as funny the second
time. BUT, if Instant Replay OJ repeats it, it
typically is more funny, because of his presentation.
At one hundred twenty decibels, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Haaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! Du-hu hu hu hude!" Gasps for
air. "Du hu huuuude! He just said, '(insert previously
spoken funny line here).'"
And though its hilarious coming from OJ, its like,"Yeah,
I know. I was there. Too. Beside you. Same room.
Right here. Been there, done that." Sometimes it plays
out like this, "Yeah, OJ, I know. I was there. What's
crazy is.... I said it. I remember thinking it was
funny when I thought it."
But that doesn't stop Instant Replay OJ.
