THE FOSTER

"The wisest words I ever heard
Came with a gentle wind
Though it didn't hit me then
It made no sound
'Til no one was around

This it blew me to my knees
And handed me the keys

Go, just go where the peace is
You always know if you seek it
Go, just go where the peace is
You always know if you seek it"

I have a strong belief that there is an arsenal of music released exclusively in the Christian music industry that should have received some support and a fan base outside of the box. Most of these artists (Sarah Jahn, Benjamin Gate, Earthsuit, Chasing Furies, the list goes on…) did not survive for long- fortunately Luna Halo has been picked up for a brighter tomorrow.

I am also one of the people that petitioned Fox for the Fall return of Ron Howard's brilliant "Arrested Development". And we were successful.

In the same spirit, I am going to do whatever I can to send people running to check out Cool Hand Luke, one of the finest finds of the last two years. They are also a band that flies under the radar, a little too well. I am hard pressed to find artists writing honest lyrics like CHL does. I can only describe them as the outgrowth of what John Eldredge ("Wild At Heart") calls "conversational intimacy with God." It is clear from these guys that the Truth hurts, but completely sets us free.
